Join us for an evening of swing dancing with live music by the Mood Swing Orchestra! The 1939-1940 Swing Dance Party is a celebration of the Golden Gate International Exposition and the Treasure Island Museum's return to live, in-person programs. The dance will be preceded by a recognition of our history with art, music and film. Mike Young’s Mood Swing Orchestra will then play live for 3 hours of dancing to Big Band music from the 1930’s.
Note: Proof of vaccination requested upon arrival. Masks are encouraged. PURCHASE TICKETS
“Tribute to Pacifica II” by Patricia Araujo
I'm delighted to be exhibiting some of my original paintings related to the GGIE and of the goddess Pacifica - the theme statue of the expo.
I will also have limited editions available for purchase.
A lovely occasion to immerse in art and dance and feel the magic of 1939-1940 swing music!
Cheers,
Patricia Araujo
